We might just have found the oldest unrestored Mercedes still road-worthy. And we found it right here at Cars and Coffee in Irvine, California. It's a 1912 Mercedes 3795, with jaw-dropping brushed aluminium sides. It predates the merger of Mercedes with Benz by more than a decade! Approximately the size of the Gadsen Purchase, this rare horseless carriage could seat a rugby team, is chain-driven with a radiator the size of a ship's prow, and a four-cylinder racing motor. Roger De Coster is a five time World 500cc Motocross Champion (1971, 1972, 1973, 1975, 1976). Roger helped 'popularize' the sport of motocross in it's infancy in the USA. Roger has gone on to wear many hats in the industry after his retirement from full time professional racing in 1980. Part of them include managing race teams for Honda, being a race promoter, and since 1995 until this recently completed season, Team Manager for American Suzuki's motocross / supercross efforts.

Capirossi doubtful for Portuguese Grand Prix?
The Italian's injuries from Phillip Island are feared to be worse than originally diagnosed.
Loris Capirossi could be forced to miss the Portuguese Grand Prix as he continues to suffer with the injury he sustained in an accident during the Australian round.
The Rizla Suzuki rider was forced to skip the Phillip Island event after an accident caused him to injure the Adductor muscle in his left thigh.
However, according to GPOne further tests have since revealed further injuries, including 'a double fracture in the right cuboid bone and a micro fracture in the fourth metatarsal.
It means Capirossi faces a race against time to be fit enough for the penultimate round of the season at Estoril or he will be forced to miss his third race in five through injury having also skipped the Aragon event.
The news will come as the latest blow in what has been a dismal season for the seasoned veteran, the 37-year-old currently last of the full-time riders in the overall standings with two rounds remaining.

AMA National Supercross and Motocross Number for 2011 season
Released is the list for the new numbers that riders will using for the 2011 AMA National Supercross and Motocross season. Ryan Dungey will be the only rider sporting the #1 plate, as he won both the AMA Supercross and Motocross championships. Trey Canard, Jake Weimer and Christophe Pourcel will all be moving up to the 450 class, so there will not be a #1 plate in the 250 Lites class this year.
