Lightning Says GT Will Be Ready by 2012

Since it first started out in 2007, the project to build a British electric supercar to match the best Aston of Ferrari have to offer has been hit by budget constraints and engineering difficulties.

All that seems to be old history now that the Lightning GT will enter a late prototype stage of development and should be ready for production by spring 2012, according to Ian Sanderson (Chairman of the Lightning Car Company) who was quoted by autocar magazine.
