Racers United 2011 Review

Dallas, Texas- Racers United Charitable Fund announced today that it raised over $11,000 during the 2011 racing season. The charity fund attended several regional and national karting events throughout the United States including Florida Winter Tour, Pan American, Rotax Nationals, and Southwest Regional Series. Special thanks to IronRock Motorsports, DeFrancesco Racing, Pam Heron, and Judy Illavia for their help throughout the season.

In 2011, the fund donated 18 grants to several charities throughout the US to include CASA (Child Advocates), United Way, Voices for Children, Pregnancy Resource Center, Kraddick Foundation, American Red Cross, Big Brothers/ Big Sisters, Boys and Girls Club, and Young Life. The fund is managed by Cole Glasson Racing and hopes are to expand its reach further by expanding its presence in other National and Regional series to create a greater opportunity to give back. The charitable fund is looking for volunteers who are racing national events such as Florida Winter Tour, SKUSA, WKA, or USAC who are interested in conducting the raffle. The fund will handle all the administration and coordinating with the race series and charities.
