TheTeaParty.net Launches TeaPartyRacing.com

Chris Lafferty will drive “We the People’s” Truck #89 NCWTS

Phoenix, AZ - The Tea Party.net has announced it will be teaming up with Lafferty Motorsports LLC to sponsor Chris Lafferty in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series.

“We are extremely excited to have the opportunity to promote limited government, personal responsibility and free markets within the Tea Party movement live to hundreds of thousands of Americans across the country and to receive publicity from the national television coverage,” said Todd Cefaratti, Freedom Organizer for TheTeaParty.net. “The best part is the sponsorship will not cost our non-profit organization or our donors a single cent. In fact, it is just the opposite. Over 50% on average of the money that is raised from sponsors for the racing team will be donated to TheTeaParty.net to be used to advance the Tea Party movement even more.”
The Truck which has already been dubbed “We The People’s” truck, will participate in races across the country during the upcoming two seasons.

“Chris Lafferty’s #89 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series and the Tea Party are a natural fit,” said Dustin Stockton, media director for TheTeaParty.net. “We will literally drive ‘We The People’ to the front row in racing and government.”

Stockton dismissed criticism about a political organization sponsoring a NASCAR team. “We don’t see ourselves as a partisan organization. Our goal has always been to recruit and educate people to the benefits of limited government, fiscal restraint, and personal responsibility; that has nothing to do with traditional partisan politics.”

Tea Party Racing.com is a mission-driven organization. The mission components are designed around:
• Representing the people (through sponsorship opportunities)

• Sharing in racing achievements

• Restoring the importance of understanding the Constitution for America’s future.

The diversity of the TheTeaParty.net,  Tea Partiers’ and Race Fans will enable the team to excel both on the racetrack as well as participate in a wide variety of activities and rallies that extend outside of the racetrack.

Cefaratti said, “This is certainly a major win for the tea party movement and the proof that we are HERE TO STAY to recruit and educate Americans on limited government, free markets and personal responsibility.”

TheTeaParty.net is seeking separate contributions to help fund the team and has launched the website www.teapartyracing.com where supporters can offer their support in increments as small as $5.

The team will kick off the sponsorship over the Fourth of July holiday at Kentucky Motor Speedway Race on July 7, 2011 and participate through the 2012 Elections.
