GoPro Partners with KartSport Team Arrow Racing

Mooresville, NC – KartSport North America is proud to announce the addition of GoPro, the world’s leading activity image capture company, as a corporate sponsor of KartSport Team Arrow Racing for the balance of the 2011 kart racing season. The partnership marks a major step for KartSport by bringing one of the first title sponsorships of a kart team to the sport. “I’m thrilled to officially announce that GoPro has teamed with KartSport.” Said KartSport owner Justin Marks. “We’ve been working hard on a rigorous grassroots marketing program and I’m excited to debut the new GoPro kart team at the next race.”

KartSport Team Arrow Racing driver Sam Beasley will pilot the GoPro Arrow Karts for the remainder of the 2011 season starting with the Rock Island Grand Prix September 2nd-4th. At the PRI show in Orlando, KartSport will add NASCAR Sprint Cup Series star AJ Allmendinger to the GoPro karting lineup.

“GoPro’s HD HERO’s are incredible products that are a perfect fit for today’s karter,” continued Marks. “Such an easy to use device that captures images and video in HD at up to 60 frames-per-second, and mountable anywhere, should be a part of every karter’s day at the track.”

In addition to title sponsorship of the team, KartSport will offer the karting community a wide range of GoPro cameras, accessories, and support on-site at all of the events on the team’s 2011 calendar.
